Fathom, Turner Classic Movies, and Warner Bros are partnering to present the
Singin’ in the Rain 60th Anniversary event to theatres nationwide. In addition
to the feature, in-theatre audiences will be treated to 15 minutes with TCM
host Robert Osborne, who will take you behind the scenes including a special
interview with Singin’ in the Rain star Debbie Reynolds. Debbie will share her
thoughts on what it was like working with Gene Kelly and Donald O’Conner on set

This month's concert features Sarah and Steve Dowell. Sarah and Steve perform a

TASTE OF SAUGATUCK, 25th
ANNUAL
Sunday,
August 26, Noon to 7:00 pm, a street festival of fine foods sponsored by the
Saugatuck-Douglas Visitors Bureau and area restaurants. The Taste of Saugatuck food festival has been held on the last Sunday in
August for the past two decades in downtown Saugatuck at Wicks Park on Water
Street from noon to 7:00 PM. This family friendly event brings together local
culinary artisans and area restaurants who prepare samples of favorite items
from their menus. Visitors have the opportunity to taste a variety of offerings
ranging from margarita chicken, grilled salmon and saganaki to more traditional
items including smoked barbecued ribs, roasted corn and kid friendly pizza. Of
course there are always an array of homemade desserts and pies
from local orchards and dollops of ice cream to top off the day. Sideways Stories from Wayside School August 17-26 in the Warner Studio Theatre.
Adapted for the stage by John Olive from the popular book series, Newberry
award winner Louis Sachar invites you into Wayside School – the craziest school
with the strangest teachers ever! Students try and survive each day under
threat of being turned into apples or disappearing on the nonexistent 19th

Michigan Irish Fest

This Midwest Irish Music Festival
promotes Irish culture and heritage while enhancing the community through
entertainment, tourism, education and philanthropy. MIMF is proud to embark on our 13th
annual festival. Our festival is also
proud to support Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry with gifts of non-perishable
food items and also annual donations. In
2011, the festival supplied over 800 pounds of food for the pantry and provided
a cash donation of $10,000 which was added to a donation of $5,000 from the
annual St. Patrick’s Party held in March.
Join us for a great mix of Celtic and Irish music including traditional,
contemporary, folk and Celtic Rock on 3 stages.
If you are a fan of great music and talented musicians, you will love
this festival. Several bands, direct
from Ireland, will be a part of the line-up along with a great group of local,
regional and national Celtic acts.
