March 7 through March 15

Have you been looking for family-friendly and fun things to do in Michigan’s GREAT Southwest? I moved to Saint Joseph about two and a half years ago, from the Chicago-land area and have been enjoying my time here.  I am looking for fun and inexpensive things to do with my family! Free is even better!  Sometimes, a splurge on a fun event is worth it to see smiles on your children’s faces!  I spend hours every week looking for things to do with my family and thought I would start sharing what I find. I hope you find something that you will enjoy. I look forward to hearing any feedback, and I would like to know if you have an event you would like listed each week.

I plan to publish every week, hopefully on Wednesdays.  But, you know, life can get in the way, and I may have to take a week off once in a while.  Thanks for understanding!

For reviews and information about movies your kids want to see, including information regarding violence, adult situations and cursing, please take a look at www.commonsensemedia.orgI have used this website often for children's movies, books and television shows.  This gives me a good review, also provides parent's reviews of movies.  What I like best, is knowing what to expect when I take my kids to the movies.

If you have an event that you would like included in an upcoming column, please send an email with all of the event details to: familyfuninswmi@gmail.com
